White peach and Nashi pear are complemented by subtle fermentation characters of lemon peel and custard. Following fermentation, some time on yeast lees contributes a creamy texture but also inviting bread and baked apples flavours.
The resulting fullness is lifted by crisp acidity that is in turn softened by a touch of residual sweetness - a harmonious balance.
This is cool climate Pinot Gris at its best with many facets and shows that purists need not always be conformists.
